| BRAGS presents annual events well known to
Burnaby gardeners such as our Plant Sale in April, RhodoFest Silent
Auction in May, and Garden Tour in July. Most of the funds raised
by these events support our Burnaby Community through donations by
BRAGS to Burnaby charitable organizations. The projects and/or
organizations supported by BRAGS are related to horiculture or the
environment. In this section we will feature some of the ways in which BRAGS funds are put to use in the Community. As well as distribution of funds, some of these activities include the hands-on involvement of BRAGS members in providing labour and expertise to the implementation of projects. BRAGS Community donations as listed below currently total $42,000+ for the years 2003 - 2008. |
